...A minimalist. Keeping it simple. I love the ocean and all it contains. Today, I paint in the country, high-up in the foothills of Northern California. I have always considered myself a watercolor painter. And for a few years now, I’ve found that working with acrylics to be just as exciting. My style of painting is using multiple layers of color. Although this is a time-consuming process, glazing creates depth and richness. I also enjoy using silver and gold leaf foils for a different twist.

As founder of this new on-line art community, I have been very much involved with the development of making my dream come true.  Personally speaking, I have always shied away from public gallery representation, as the thought of promoting my work with a one-on-one reception makes me shiver (despite all the yummy wine and cheese). This is what makes the on-line gallery experience so ideal for me.
